Hi there!
My name is Alexandra Thimble, and I am a UX designer with a nearly five-year long professional background in communication and marketing. I am passionate about helping innovative companies accomplish their goals, and I help to bridge that gap with my strong writing abilities, attention to detail and willingness to continually learn and grow my skill set.
A Bit About Me
Since completing my BA in 2020, I have worked primarily in public relations, social media management and internal communications.
I spent three years at an integrated marketing and public relations agency where I worked in both PR and social media specialist roles and learned how to effectively tell client stories in creative, thoughtful ways. I have since transitioned to an in-house role as part of the communications team at a global law firm, where I work directly with attorneys and other business professionals to promote their important work on various internal and external platforms.
While working in PR, I began to pursue a certificate in user experience design, which married my writing skills with my love for and interest in graphic design. Working in communication has had a significant impact on my design work, not only teaching me how to write professionally, but also how to collaborate with clients to successfully complete projects.

I was born and raised in the Greater Boston area, and returned to live there after getting my undergraduate degree at Fairfield University in Connecticut (go Stags!)
I have a steadily growing collection of vinyls that I’ve been acquiring since I was a teenager. I’m currently on the hunt for anything by Sinead O’Connor or Tracy Chapman
I love to travel! High up on the bucket list are Nordic countries like Norway, Sweden or Finland
